There is a side of running a restaurant that guests rarely get to see.

They see the finished plate, the carefully prepared table, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the moments they share with the people they love. And that is exactly how it should be. When someone walks through our doors, I want them to feel welcome, relax, enjoy their time, and leave with a good memory.

But behind those moments is another world.

It begins early in the morning, when ingredients need to be selected, deliveries checked, preparations made, and a hundred small decisions taken before the first guest even arrives. It continues through long services, demanding days, unexpected challenges, and the constant responsibility of making sure that everything works as it should.

And when the doors close, the work is not necessarily over.

I know this life because gastronomy has been part of my journey since I was young. Over the years, I have learned that running a restaurant requires far more than knowing how to serve good food. It requires patience, discipline, resilience, and a genuine interest in people.

Alpha House is not simply a business I opened. It is a dream I chose to build.

More than what you see on the plate

For me, food has always been about more than filling a stomach. It is about bringing people together, creating a feeling of home, and offering something worth returning for.

That is why we care about the ingredients we use, how our dishes are prepared, and what leaves our kitchen. We believe in fresh ingredients, homemade preparations, and taking personal responsibility for the products we serve.

These are not just words for a website or a slogan for advertising. They are standards we want to uphold in our daily work.

Of course, no restaurant is perfect, and no dish will be everyone's favourite. Taste is personal. Expectations differ. And honest feedback can help us improve. We understand that, and we will always make room for constructive criticism.

But I also believe that there is a difference between expressing a genuine opinion and making serious claims about a business without a sound basis.

A few sentences can be written in seconds. For the people who have invested their time, energy, money, and hopes into a business, however, the consequences can be much greater.

I am not writing this because I expect everyone to praise us. I am writing it because I believe that honesty, fairness, and respect should matter in both directions.

The people behind the name

When you see Alpha House, you see a restaurant. I see the work, the sacrifices, the decisions, the people who stand beside me, and the future we are trying to build.

Behind this business are people with families, responsibilities, worries, ambitions, and dreams of their own. People who show up, do their jobs, solve problems, and try again the next day.

We do not take that commitment lightly.

Every guest who chooses to spend their time with us gives us an opportunity to do what we love. Every returning guest reminds us why we started. And every sincere message, recommendation, and positive review gives us motivation to keep going.
